There's one incredible U2 lyrics site where the guy spent years looking for real meanings behind their songs, from interviews, documentaries, books, whatever, he did research and allowed people to post their opinions but read through them and only left the valuable//true ones.
And he pointed out some totally ridiculous ones too. Specifically, someone explained how "One" is a song about blowjobs ("Did I disappoint you or leave a bad taste in your mouth") ...
