Hi all, I'm studying for my ESOL and something is killing me. I can do like, 10 next parts correctly but this one word keeps running away from me :(

Jon Wynne-Tyson was an original thinker whose best-known book 'Food for a Future' was published in 1975. In this classic work, a case was .............................  forward for what can only be described as a more responsible and humane attitude towards the world’s food resources.

What word goes on the dotted line? Anyone?

IT'S "PUT"! Thank you [livejournal.com profile] lstinhpfdm  , you saved my sleep :)
Also, I hate you, simple words.

I am not that good at this stuff. The only thing I can think of is "put" ie "the case was put forward", but it can't be that simple can it?

Plus you have a typo. I don't think you mean foes?

your english is so very good.

and often i have problems with simple words, too. and words that are names. i'm not kidding you at all, but once i couldn't remember the word 'dad' when i was talking to my father. i was just thinking 'i don't call you david, i call you....' and couldn't remember. stupid brain.

:P
