I hate making stuff up. I'm ok with it up to a point, but if it's something that would make a Chicago person go "um, what?" I don't wanna experiment with it :) So far I'm keeping it vague. I mean, it's a tiny story so it's not like they need a proper setting mostly. And I managed to remember that 21 is the drinking age in Illinois and that sitting in a car kissing minors could be an issue, so I think I'm generally covered.
