No, not the cartoon, and not Red Hunter's baby project either. This is a new band from Liverpool and Kelly helped me buy their album a while ago but I hogged them because I'm an only child and it's what we do.
I've been waiting for their album for so long that I basically forgot I was waiting, and then I checked, not really expecting, but... there it was :D A brand new shiny awesome album :)
You can hear bits of songs here and whole ones on their myspace here. I love the whole album but have a special fondness for Sister Like You and Coming of Age (it was the first song I heard by them).
They are really calm, I see them tagged as folk often, but I'm not sure whose folk. I wish I could use words but I can't so I'll just say they are PRETTY. The lyrics, the music, the emotion. They make me smile, and I really don't listen to a lot of music that does that.

Copypasta about the band, also from myspace:
Marc Sunderland (lead singer, guitarist, pianist of Peter and the Wolf) is quite a prolific little multi instrumentalist/songwriter. His ADHD and textbook behavioural issues gift him with the powers to craft classic original songs but with sparky ingenious lifts and twists, and provide him a wealth of true stories and experiences of life on the edge, from which he draws his lyrics (and many a sing-along torrid tale). Every lyric sung and every note played pieces together the story - these songs are 100% substance over style. (read more)
