And yeah, I'm pissed that MCR didn't respond because wtf guys, WTAF, these are the people working with you and representing you in a way. Stand up against this shit.
But mostly, I'm angry and sad about the complete lack of response from the fandom. Except "hey, where's the music!?" FUCK YOU, THAT'S WHERE.

I am actually still hoping MCR will come out and say this whole thing is a hoax... I mean, it took them 4 weeks to tell us Bob left. Bitter? Moi? :D
But it really is the fan reaction that bugs me the most.

And I totally understand the bitter. I'm still bitter myself - I haven't even been able to listen to any of the music yet. I managed three songs on my drive home from work today, which is two and a half more than usual. :T

*hug* hope it gets better. I'm bitter but not angry (yet). I'm still thinking maybe he left because he didn't want to deal with the whole will we won't we publish an album thing. My breaking point will be if/when something is said about him in an interview. Especially if it even hints at negative. We'll see.
And I still want to cry every time I hear Brendon's voice. So, I get it, and I hope it gets easier for you.

*hugs* Thanks, and the same to you. Mostly I just have to not listen to the albums and I'm fine. That and I tend to keep the actual real life people and the characters in my head as two separate entities. Helps to cut down on the crazy, I think.

My question.. Is it real? And do they know about it? And if it's real or not, it's a better PR move for them to not comment on it. We will only really know when the artwork/promo stuff comes out.

The sad thing is this probably goes on all the time in the casting industry. I bet that's not the worst slur in this kind of material. It's probably whatever casting company & idot who wrote this thing up that we should be pissed off at.

It would seem that it is real, since no one said it isn't and I think at least one person would have said something. The post originated on MCR's website (though not by mcr) so someone must have seen it.
I can't help thinking they should say something, because it's them and they supposedly stand for all kinds of rights, so this makes me feel awkward.

And yeah, we should be, but other than 2 or 3 people almost no one reacted. The general feeling was "Even if it is real, who cares, let's have music!" And the few people who did comment against it were anon :/

It is offensive, though I don't think it's common in USA which is why I'm not quite as pissed at MCR. I doubt the meaning of it could escape them, but ok.
And it would seem this is real because it was posted on mcr's website (though not from an official person, this is just a screencap of what is actually "personal" exchange between the agency and potential models) and no one has denied it so far.

*nod* no idea. But it seems we're more worried about it in Europe than the USsians are. Still, I don't think you can look at that word, even if you never saw it, and think "hey, that totally looks like a good, gender affirming word!"

I have no idea why the agency used it but suddenly all those stories about what actors have to go through to become ANYTHING come into perspective. If this is how it's done... I don't even wanna know how they look for Native American actors or models.
