1. what is your earliest memory?
This new radio station opened. They were the first radio station around to play COOL music. Anything from Azra to ZZ Top. I was around 4 or 5, some time before I had to go to school anway, and my parents were having all their friends over. They were drugged off their asses and in their happy place. I was up till midnight or later, calling the radio station, demanding music, talking to the guy on air and entertaining my entire city :) Good times! :)
2. if you could wave a wand and do any (actual, real) job in the world, what would it be?
Translating books. (Not that anyone's stopping me now, but I'd like to be paid actual money for it :) )
3. what is something you really like about yourself?
My sarcasm. And my hair :))
4. since we're new to each other, tell me about bandom and how you found yourself here?
Uh, well, for starters I have to say I'm really prejudiced towards anything that smells even a bit like "popular" (as in "having a following," not culture). In my defense, I grew up in the time when Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls and Britney Spears were considered 'OMG the best'!
I'm in the SPN fandom and there are two people on my flist who are in bandom too. I once searched delicious.com for some stories not related to my fandom and found all these "ryan/brendon" and "spencer/jon" and "spencer/brendon" stories and they were fun and I noticed some patterns that could be making of excelent slash stories, but they were hard to sift through. So I asked a friend and she gave me links to primers and videos and stories :) And then first video I saw was of something acoustic and I couldn't really skip the fact that their singer can actually sing. That was great, but not brainstopping just yet. Then in one of the slash stories I read something about Ryan writing a song about his father and yeah, that had me making a doubletake. (I don't do love songs really, I just can't ever relate.) Then I just read all their lyrics and listened to all of their music and fell in love with both. The fact that they are all gay for each other is just a plus. (I never had an OT4 before!)
5. what are your top 3 beloved bits of canon in bandom?
Wow this turned out to be way harder and longer than I thought. (That's what she said.) I'm not here long enough to know just one moment or one line so, sorry about the jumble and cheating :)
a) Everything about this dvd, but mostly the part where Brendon says he's Ryan's voice. it's definitely the most beautiful thing I ever heard... And "Jon? Jon? Bells, Jon?" :))))))))))
b) The crazy that is this interview:
Brendon was so sad and yeah the Brendon/Ryan fans always say he and Ryan were in a spat etc but I don't think so cause there's no tension between them. Brendon was just down for some reason.

Brendon pulling up Jon's sleeve at 1:37 like he's his mother and then grinning at Ryan and Ryan grinning back. Which btw was the only positive-Brendon moment in the vid.
(And that Ryan actually stepped up to cover for Brendon not talking. And this I think was before he discovered he actually likes to talk which is why he looks a bit like he's mentally challenged.)

-The "Brendon is pretty" talk by Ryan and then "Brendon and Ryan are pretty" talk by Jon.
"Look at him, it's obvious." Brendon looks at Ryan. Ryan nudges Brendon. *silence* Joke failed. :)
-And of course at 0:45 Jon teasing Brendon with food and Ryan pausing and Spencer I guess getting a hardon cause he started babbling soon after.
-Brendon being in Ryan's face in 4:10 (probably over glass clinking, I dunno, someone spent way too many hours analyzing that) and then Ryan being really interested in the carpet till 4:18.

Spencer yawning, ranting and then bitching out Motley Crew :)
c) All the videos from this session and how beautifully OT4 they are and how it complements the above interview. (And that Brendon hates "Sins," not the first time that came up :)) ) And the fact that even though Spencer is on the shaker thingie and Jon is on the tambourine they still contribute to the song and aren't just... banging along/hanging around.
