Seriously people, next time I wanna go to patd secrets, someone poke me in the eye. I've never seen anything as evil as panic/veins "fans".
Shiny disclaimer: I of course don't mean all the fans. Just... a lot. Way too fing much.

I didn't go to many Panic/bandom comms before, but after the split I just had to stop altogether, because people were freaking me out at best and making me so angry at worst.

It's just scary how some 'fans' can turn from enamored to terribly hateful in 0.001 seconds and treat them like they're not people, not real at all *shivers*

Yeah, that last part bugs me the most. These guys we fen are online almost as much as we are and they see a lot of the shit that is being said. Sometimes I wanna scream "HE'S A HUMAN BEING WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!" but... if I do that, then I'm ... um, "emo" and "can't take a joke" and "too serious about internets".
Yet if any of the guys/girls from the bands said online something remotely as disgusting about the fans, they'd be crucified.

I need some more friends because my flist sometimes doesn't move whole day... but once I build my wall of awesome people, I'm not visiting any of the comms for a REALLY long time.

Oh, yeah, I feel you! I downloaded The Sims because I needed something to take 'computer time' out of my hands and not be so tempted to go to those comms, and I started adding people that I saw on Team Awesome posts and such to build up my flist (and if they were Ryan fans, the better).

I just, I don't know. If someone bothers me in any way, I try to stay away from it. Posting such cruel things, especially about somebody you claimed to love up until 5 seconds ago because they did or might have done something unexpected/that you don't agree with... it's just a reaction I cannot understand. And going to their myspace or twitter to say it just gets the cake.

Loving someone gives you so, so much, but hating? so much work, so much heartache... why don't we save it for people who truly deserve it, like Hitler-types? never for people who are just like us but just happen to have a public job.

*sigh*

Anyway! Let's give some happy to this comment!:

*nod? I do picspams or just collect pics to stop myself from browsing too much.

Yup. It takes up so much energy to hate someone and in the end you're left with nothing. AND you've ruined everyone else's fun. I think those have to be some really sad, miserable people.

Love! Panic! Cobra! lol they are ridiculous thank you :D

that comm has always been like that. even before the split. and if you think that's mean, don't ever go anywhere near fueled_bygossip or fbr_trash. the people on there dont just hate on bands but they attack everyone who sticks up for them or just says he's a fan.
not that i support anyone hating on anyone just because of the music they listen to, but i'm just amused at how many people who like all time low think they have moral high ground over people who like panic at the disco. because all time low are so much mature.
oh and the thing about the panic fandom hating so much on the people they're supposed to support is in my opinion because most people (or well girls) in this fandom were about 14 or less when they started liking them, so the emotional attachment is way higher. and for some reason this emotional attachment supposedly gives them the right to judge over every single tiny thing they do. which is in no way true of course, but they apparently can't get it into their heads that they don't own them.

I think SPN now has it's own trash comm as well. I never even visited once and now I'm glad because you kinda confirmed everything I suspected.
LoL I love that "my band is better than yours" bs. If that was ever true, there'd only be one band in the world and everyone would listen to it.

Hm, there is that... or, at least, I want to believe the age does play a role because my headdesk would be too hard if this was just a case of Internet bringing the truth out of people.

i think it's sorta both. but the anonimity of the internet brings out haters all over not just in fandoms. we have more access to private information of 'famous' people more than ever today and since it's all over the news and the interwebs everyone feels they have the right to comment on it. sometimes i really think te internet is the worst thing ever.

I think anonymous coms lend themselves to ultimate douchebaggery, bitter little bitches who don't have the guts to say what they think with their name attached, maybe don't have any spine or courage in their real lives, so being catty and passive aggressive is their only way of feeling good about themselves.

This is true. I just wish there was an online poker I could poke them with whenever they start shitting on things and people they don't even know to feel better about themselves.
