maskitheclownI get the feeling a lot of people don't know about David Ford, or maybe just don't care, and that's just sad because his lyrics are incredible, and even though for me the music in his songs feels mostly supportive, it's kind of... an emotional guideline. Plus he uses a harmonica which is always crazy fun :)
His voice is incredibly clean, the British accent is pretty strong and he enunciates clearly (it's relevant, mkey?) :)
His songs vary from love songs to political ones. Now, no surprise, I like the socio-political ones better, but even his love songs usually have really cool lyrics that omg even I can relate to :D
All this said, he's about as far from MCR and FOB as one can get. He's often compared to Damien Rice but I find David a much better lyricist (and just generally like him more).
He has 2 full albums (I Sincerely Apologise for All the Trouble I've Caused [2005] and Songs for the Road [2007]) and a few EPs. Both the albums can be heard and bought on his myspace, I'm pretty sure in full.
I'm gonna pull out my favorite lyric out of every song I like. (There are I think 4 songs all together that I just don't like much so I can't pick a lyric from them, but the others are all here.)

**I totally wanna quote all of it, but instead, just my favorite line, covers every political speach ever made.
**This is a crazyass song that starts quieter than all the others, then goes up a bit but just goes crazy on the harmonica at a certain point and blows your ears away. And the drums are wicked.
As for prettiness, just in case anyone cares, I don't find him particularly attractive but he seems to constlanty wear this ridic hat which gives him extra Ryan and Patrick points.
