 So, Keltie's little post, back when "The Photo" came out, totally upset me more than I thought. 'Cause now every time I see Ryan with some of his "old" friends (Gabe), or doing something in any way related to them (like playing Angels and Kings which is suuuuch a stretch) I go into "See! SEE, YOU WERE W R O N G!!" mode. And then I do my "You were wrong" dance. 

Khm :) New version of "Change"! Same as old but cleaner, no more buzzing in my head :) (Not to say that I don't expect someone going "I liked the old version better, you ho!!")  

Also, Ryan in New York, why does that seem so normal? But then, my vision of New York is probably not exactly correct, what with never having been in USA and all :D 

Does this show mean we'll get to see Jon Walker and confirm his existence? 

Heh, and, "The Young Veins Take a Vacation" :)

I had to stop reading anything by/about Keltie (luckily I didn't do it a lot, just from time to time and almost never when she and Ryan broke up) because the more I read the more pissed off I got, and I'd always tried to like her. But sharing too much information about someone else is a big squick for me, and I had to 'remove' myself from that.

Anyway, I'm so happy for TYV and their show in Angels and Kings, and I'm so excited to hear their album.

(New version of Change? is it just a cleaner sound, or did they mess around with it?)

*nod* I came into bandom maybe a week before they broke up and I was pretty much ok with with her because... well, I don't really care about the girlfriends/wives/husbands and whatevers :) But from the moment they broke up I just didn't like how public she made it. And her post after the photo made him sound like Sid Vicious and I guess it stuck with me more than it should have.

Me too :D Especially about the ALBUM omg :) I will of course, download illegally, but I hope we get it here soon so I can buy it without ordering from wherever and paying extra. A few years ago it took us 4 - 6 months to get the new albums... I hope things have moved on :/

From what I can hear it's just cleaner, his voice isn't so buzzy any more. But I can be kinda spacey. :D

Yeah, exactly! It's like, hey, it's not any of my business, I don't wanna know about their private lives! It already makes me uncomfortable at times when *they* post a pic that's a bit too personal, but at least then it's their choice. So, I just stay away from the stuff.


Oh, I'll download and then I'll have to order it. There's no music store where I live (just a tiny section in a bigger store) so ordering online it is. Thankfully, euro being stronger than dollars is helping me not be broke ;)

I wondered if anyone was going to mention that TYV playing at A&K might imply that Ryan is at least talking/working with Pete. Excited to hear the new album. Makes me wonder about A&K in New York instead of Chicago?

Not sure why Ryan in New York would seem more normal. Perhaps him walking the streets of a city fit his personality more than hikes in the canyons and on the beach. While Brendon would be a natural on a surfboard, Ryan would be nothing short of ridiculous. I can't see Ryan loving the cold NY winters. I do have some experience with both cities. Spent some of my wayward youth in NY (I'm a Jersey girl), and don't live that far away from LA. (Although I spend more time driving through the city than in it.)

As for Keltie, it's not unusual to be bitter about your x-boyfriend and I think she really only knew as much as the rest of the internet. I didn't let that bother me much.

Heh, yeah, but I don't really know that much about Pete's relationship with A&K so, it could have nothing to do with him at all?
No idea why NY, I mean, Ryan is there, but Jon is in Chicago? Or, he was supposed to be? Probably just convenient for some reason. I still don't know why they don't let me put surveillance chips on them so I can follow their every move.... :)

Oh, I just have an idea of NY as this artsy town where you can be what ever you want to be and nobody cares. (Could be wrong?) That's pretty much the only reason... though, yeah, the idea of Ryan on a surfing board makes me giggle :)

You're a cooler than me that way. I was all "oh no everything is going down!" :) But, you're right, she didn't seem to know anything more than the internet.

Well, parts of LA are artsy just as parts of NY. (Ex. Venice Beach) Kind of depends on where exactly you live and who you hang out with. Both cities are HUGE, mind boggling huge. People seem to have this "hollywood" view of LA, that everyone shops in Rodeo Drive and eats at all these exclusive restaurants and clubs. It's a big illusion. Biggest difference besides the weather, you do have to drive a car to get almost anywhere in LA, while I wouldn't drive a car in NY even if you paid me.

Oh well, too late now, but yeah, exactly that. She totally freaked me out and by the time I realized she was wrong, it was too late, my brain got the info and was all worried about Ryan basically ending up in a ditch alone and bleeding to death, any day now :)
