Guideline.

Day 07 → A photo that makes you happy
I can't show it to you, even under flock, my family would freak if it ever came out at all, but, well, I saved a lot of old photos from my family and there's one of my grandpa as a kid, he's wearing the Oliver Twist garment (not as a Halloween gig). Hat, coat, old boots and a scarf. (Seriously, Ryan Ross would be jealous.) He's tiny, adorable and probably starved, but, well, those were the times. I grin like crazy every time I see it.
So, instead, here, have some Patrick being adorable by, y'know, BREATHING.

Day 08 → A photo that makes you angry/sad
Pretty much any photo by James Nachtway makes me sad, he's my favorite war photographer. But mostly it's a photo from this sequence. I can't find it online but I have it printed out (and on my wall, yeah, I'm that kind of freaky; when my friend comes to sleep over she covers all the walls first.) Photo was taken in Grozny, Chechnya and supposedly, but there is no proof, the kid's parents were killed a few minutes before it was taken. Sorry I don't have it bigger.

And! Spencer gave an interview! And talked about Ryan. And I want them back together! What? No, I'm totally over that childish bull. Let's move on. *hugs Spencer* You're too cool for me.
ETA: OH! WAIT! I wanted to show you another Patrick video! He's too adorable for words. No, really! He's reading the lyircs from his phone as he sings. *squ..*

AND OMG. As a pseudo photographer, I find those picture brilliant, in the most technical sense. But as a human being, I feel awful.

Old pictures always fascinate me, so I would have loved to have seen the picture of your grandpa. But I can understand why you wouldn't want to post it.

You really do have a "war" theme going on. Being honest, wars are something that I tend to avoid. Makes me too sad.

Yeah.. the Spencer interview. Many of the comments on padt, seem to be saying that's its a boring interview. Yet, if you squint I think he revealed something more about Ryan and his motivations.

Hah, I do, I can't help it. It's a pretty big part of my interests :)

Yeah, I read the comments too and they are all "same old same old" but I don't remember arguing over making Pretty.Odd. being mentioned before, or Ryan's desire to sing his own lyrics, in those words. But, good job Spencer, waiting for the fans to get bored before he leaks anything extra :D

Thanks for the picture. He really is adorable. I do have similar pictures, although I think they are more of my great-grandparents, from the time around when they first emigrated to the states.

I did poke around your other pictures, and enjoyed them. The fortress you photographed reminds me a bit of the Bled castle.

Oh yeah :) I think they were built about the same time :) But Slovenians really care about their heritage so it's much prettier than ours. But, I loved walking there, (and noticing there were no toilets). :)

But the falling apart part has a bit of charm to it. Not as touristy, a bit more rustic. Except for the fact that it's just going to keep falling down, if it's not maintained.

Anyway.
Yeah, those pictures would have been very different if there were dozens of people walking around on them. I like the solitude of it.
And, I hope they keep up at least the minimal maintenance.
