I collect info like some people collect shoes. What I heard was that he took a break from the music business in general (supposedly greener pastures), which is why one of the younger bands on his list was suddenly managerless. There was some "I can't believe people are so mean"-type-like messages on twitter but no one ever proved they had anything to do with MCR and very few people even tried to point in their direction.
And, yeah, I hate that too. Like, "just surprise me, ok?" :D
