Day 16 → A song that makes you cry (or nearly)
That'd have to be 90% of Blue October or Balašević songs... Hm. Ok, lemme find something extra :)
HRSA (You really wouldn't think it's the kind of song that can tear you up but when he gets to "they actually knelt down and prayed for me" I'm done, so when he gets to "I won't cry over anything, over anything at all" it's a bit ironic).
For my brother.
But I just wanna be happy again, until it all falls down
...
And with a broken heart, and a straight face I'm sayin' Brother, help me

And in other news!! Patrick Stump can sing! And drum! And drum and sing! :) And look pretty while doing it.

Date: 2009-11-16 05:15 pm (UTC)I should look more into Blue October, interesting band. Can't say the song reduce me to tears. I think that's usually something personal. The only song that really does that for me shows my age, Pink Floyd's , Wish You Were Here. The song still bring back memories of it being played at a memorial service for a teenage 'friend' who committed suicide.

Date: 2009-11-17 11:34 am (UTC)As far as Patrick goes... I seem to be... personality-sexual? :D I dunno, if I like the person for their... singing, writing, thinking... I suddenly find them attractive. Before I got into fandom I thought all the guys in bands were ugly :)
They are a really good, completely underrated band. I wanna make a big post about them... which, I might do today evening since I don't wanna think about the upcoming exam :)
Yeah, that's completely personal, sometimes it can be related to an event, like with you and WYWH, or just hit a spot. It's what's beautiful about art, everyone sees it differently and no one is wrong :)
