So, basically I'm stuck in bed and needed something brainnumbing to do. Hence music meme. If you know any others point me in the right direction, the bigger the better :D There was one HUGE meme I saw once where you had to list your top 5 favorites in a variety of "genres" or.. Spending a night at my friend's place and listening to them for the first time :)

How did you get into 3 (Fall Out Boy) ?
Well, actually... I got into Patrick, and FOB happened. Considering how many albust hey made I like very few of their songs. But I really like Folie a Deux and Pete's lyrics and any song where I can really hear Patrick's voice does it for me, so, there's no particular story.

What was the first song you heard by 1 (Panic at the Disco)?
Lying is the most... I heard it years ago and had it on my computer but I didn't really pay attention to the band. I kept thinking "I'm gonna check them out any day now..."
In the meantime everyone who told me about Panic IRL was a whiny douche, so, that wasn't really appealing. Shame.

What is your favorite song by 4 (My Chemical Romance) ?
Famous Last Words. And You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison. I can't really chose.

How many times have you seen 9 (The Northern Crowns) live?
Never :( But in this case I have an excuse. They've only had 3 live shows so far :) All of them in the US :)

What is a good memory you have involving 2 (Blue October) ?
The appartment I was living in when I discovered them. It had the most awesome bedroom ever. *sigh*

Is there a song of 8 (Brand New) that makes you sad?
Limousine. It's a song about a little girl who died, in real life, in a car accident after her sister's wedding. There are some really horrible scenes from that story that I'm not gonna tell you about here. But the music is really haunting and crazy. They did a great job on that album. But when I first heard the song I thought it was about abuse, which was horrible too.

Well, they only have one, officially. But now they have a bunch of other songs so a new could be on the horizon? But yeah, the self titled album so far.

Having the album given to me in a really crappy moment of my life by someone who really didn't have to do it.

Jude Law and a Semester Abroad... I find it vaguely interesting that with a bit of an effort I can always remember the first song I heard by a band that I like. My memory is usually pretty bad.

What is your favorite cover by 2 (Blue October) ?
Hm, I don't really listen to their covers but they re-did their own song, Dirty Room, and I love the new version way better. If that counts :)
