and dude, i'm loving this progression ftom the 60s to the 70s. it's like he's doing a timeline. first the punk rock stuff, then the emo/scene stuff, then the vaudeville era, then the 60s, now the 70s. you know what's next then right? the 80s. and you know what was popular in the 80s? big hair and spandex suits.

I will :) And I think bandom is trying to toughen me up. If With all these breakups and bullshits, eventually, I want to read any fics at all, I will just have to get over my dislike of some people and anger and whatnot. It's... quality brain exercise :)

i had a period where i could only read fluff or funny fics. i hated angst and all the similar things, but now there's nothing better than an angsty fic with awesome hurt/comfort at the end. lol
which reminds me, have you per chance read the fic reni_days wrote for me? the spencer/ryan/brendon homeless fic? well, ryan and spencer are homeless, brendon lives in a shitty appartment and has very little money, but he takes them in anyway.

I like angst that resolves itself happily. Just... up to a point. I can handle psychological angst, but non-con, torture, physical abuse? No. :(
