nope, she's not handling it well. she's taking down all her fic. idk, i haven't read the fic so i can't say anything about that, i just hate how no one bothered to say all of this to her face. and how when someone brought that up everyone is saying that how/where the criticism was given isn't relevant because it's justified (sinuus_curve made a post about it and it was a public one and everyone and their mother wrote their opinion on it. and none of them said anything to the author).

hmmm.... I saw her response and frankly the fact that she's comparing this to actual fucking gang rape makes me think her fail might have been real. Maybe she's not quite aware of the words she uses and the meaning they have.
In the meantime I need to go check out my delicious to see if I have any of her fics there... maybe I manage to rescue them before she deletes.

Oh yeah, I loved one of her fics, FUCK. But, she does have some... strange ideas. Even in that fic there was an aspect of it that bothered me. I wouldn't be surprised if she did fail in conveying her message.

yeah i'm not saying the criticism wasn't valid, just that it bothers me that no one was willing to say that to her face. well lj. lol. i understand not wanting to write a coment you might regret later because you were angry, but then making a public post about it is not cool. might just be me, but i hate it when people do shit like that. i've had people talk shit behind my back all my life and i've always heard about it from someone else and didn't have the chance to defend myself and it just pisses me off.

Yeah, I'm reading through those comments and it seems most people were just being too fucking chicken to say anything to her. Which seems ridiculous because SPN had similar fail lately and the author was destroyed by comments and discussions and stuff. I can't believe no one sent a message or a comment to the author.
I kinda get it because I hate confrontation too, but yeah, then the least they could do was not make a public shitfest *sigh*

lol, you're totally allowed, i'm not saying that she didn't fuck up badly, just that i don't like the way it was handled and how no one's willing to own up to this being kinda a shitty way to do it. they're right in their opinions, completely, me just no likey how they did it. cause it kinda seems like 'okay, i don't like this, but i'm not going to say anything because i'm angry and i don't want to be the bad guy because no one's said anything yet' 'oh someone's said something! it's safe to state my opinion now'

The story starts with Gabe (who has some strange job we're not really sure of... maybe he's famous? Hmm... something, it's a mystery) visiting this little store of religious items I guess, where Brendon works. He's all torn up because he wants to ask Brendon out but keep postponing it. Sadly, by the time he makes his mind up Brendon gets back together with Jon.
(Interesting tidbit about Brendon: he only speaks to his mother once a month, but when she tells him he should go to church more often, he obeys, even though he hates it.)

So, Brendon goes to church and goes to confess his sins. He starts by talking about how he got together with Jon and the priest says it's ok, that's not a sin. And Brendon is, naturally, a bit confused. But then the priest moves the protection between them and tan taaan! It's Gabe! And he's masturbating! And he wants Brendon to tell him more so he can masturbate more!

And that's when I stopped reading.
